UCLA forward Mac Etienne was arrested on Thursday night for spitting on Arizona fans after the Wildcats 10 point win over the Bruins.  Etienne, who hasn't played at all this season due to a torn ACL, can be seen spitting at Arizona fans as he was walking to the locker room with his teammates.

From Larry Brown Sports:

According to ESPN’s Myron Medcalf, Arizona campus police officers found Etienne in the locker room. He was told he was being placed under arrest and issued a citation for assault with “the intent to injure, provoke or insult” another person.

Etienne was allowed to return to his team and should be able to address his citation without the need to return to the state.

I can't tell if this is a good teammate move or a bad one.  He didn't even play in the game and should probably just keep it moving.  On the other hand if he was sticking up for his guys it might be a good teammate move.

I'm sure he'll say the fans said something terrible, but you can't spit on people.
