Ump Shows Are Back and They’re Getting Way Out of Hand

Earlier this week an umpire at the Florida State-Florida game called a batter out for stepping all the way out of the box.  This happened in a one run game and was the second out of the inning.

The umpire had a brief discussion with the Florida head coach and upheld his call that the batter was out for not keeping one foot in the box.  Is this how we want the game of baseball played?

Look I'm not a fan of the guys wandering around home plate and taking an hour an half to get back in the box, but this is ridiculous.  This umpire looks like the kind of guy who was waiting to make this call and looking forward to the confrontation that followed.

In other words a dickhead.  Let's start having some oversight on these assholes.  You do stupid shit like this you get suspended.
