SJ - January 1, 2022

Utah quarterback Cameron Rising was having himself a game during the Rose Bowl on Saturday night.  He was 17 of 22 passing for 221 yards and two touchdowns.

Rising added another 92 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  That was until a play in the 4th quarter ended his night.  He was sacked and had his head slammed to the ground in the process.

As a result of his head hitting the ground he was knocked out cold.

Where was the whistle?  This is as much the referees fault as it is the Ohio State defender who caused his head to hit the ground with such force.

Rising's forward progess had been stopped way before the whistle was blown.
