Winnipeg Jets Defenseman Tucker Poolman Left Bleeding After Blocking a Shot With His Face

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Tucker Poolman blocked a shot from close range to the face on Tuesday night against the Calgary Flames.  Sacrificing his face kept the game tied at one early in the second period and left him bleeding all over the ice.

As you might have expected from a hockey guy, Poolman returned in the third period with a cage covering his extremely swollen face.  Unfortunately the Jets would go on to lose the game 6-2.

This is why hockey guys are the best.  They eat pucks for breakfast, get stitched back up and are ready to hit the ice a half an hour later.  They're definitely not normal human beings.
