Anastasia Potapova is Ready for Tennis!

Anastasia Potapova is a 22 year old professional tennis player, who is currently playing at the Indian Wells tennis event in California.

She's from Russia, she's had a WTA ranking of 21 in the world, she was penalized last year for wearing a Russian themed shirt before a match at Indian Wells last year because it was seen as Russian support.

She is married to professional tennis player Alexander Shevchenko, who is ranked 45 in the ATP, he was Russian but changed his home country to Kazakhstan earlier in the year.

Anastasia Potapova is a two-time WTA titleholder who posted her best finish in Indian Wells at the 2023 BNP Paribas Open (Round of 32). Her performance in Indian Wells helped her reach a career-high ranking of No. 21 in June along with her equalling her best Grand Slam result with a third round finish at Roland-Garros.
