Attorney for Man Who Accused Aaron Donald of Assault Issues an Apology to the Rams Star

It's been a crazy week for Rams star Aaron Donald.  It all started last weekend after an altercation with a man at a Pittsburgh bar.

The altercation left DeVincent Spriggs with several injuries, including a swollen eye and a broken arm.

Spriggs believed Donald was the one who inflicted the injuries on him.  That was until surveillance video revealed that Donald was actually one of the people who broke up the fight.

DeVincent Spriggs is now looking to apologize to the NFL star.

His attorney says his client mistook someone else for Donald during last weekend’s fight on Pittsburgh’s South Side.

“I wanted to make this statement public. And to extend an apology to Aaron for what he’s gone through, but I clearly know this was not him,” said Attorney Todd Hollis.

Video can be a very powerful witness.  The fact that it exists is great news for Donald.

It's also good news that the attorney for the accuser is apologizing.  Some would still go after Donald for the notoriety.
