Chad Johnson Leaves a Huge Tip at a Restaurant

Former NFL receiver Chad Johnson is known in retirement for leaving huge tips at restaurants. On Wednesday night he was back at it when he inconvenienced his favorite Cuban restaurant.

Johnson left $100 to his server for every minute he kept them after the 10 pm closing time. That ended up being 13 minutes so the server received a $1,300 tip.

Headed to my Cuban spot for dinner, I’m being somewhat of an inconvenience for the kitchen & staff being that they close at 10pm but i will be sure to bless l my server $100 for every minute after 10pm for the trouble 😢

This is the kind of thing that makes it really hard to hate Chad Johnson. Sure he does have a checkered past, and maybe he's trying to atone for that, but whatever the case it's still a cool move.
