Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence Got Engaged to Longtime Girlfriend Marissa Mowry

Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence announced on Friday night that he got engaged to longtime girlfriend Marissa Mowry.  The proposal went down on the field at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium.

Lawrence, who is entering his junior year at Clemson, is expected to be the No.1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.  He's now added a fiancee to the list of incredible accomplishments during his college career.

Lawrence shared several pictures from the proposal including a look at his very happy future wife.

Marissa also shared pictures from the couple's big moment, calling it the "easiest yes" of her life.

Congratulations to the young couple.  Lawrence has put his future NFL earnings to good use.

Some would say that he shouldn't tie himself down in college, especially when his stock on campus is at an all-time high.

Some, not me.  I say do what makes you happy.  If you want to pass up on the best of what Clemson’s campus has to offer that's on you.
