Grabbing a Shoulder Pad is Now Flagged for a Facemask in the NFL

There was one of the worst penalty calls in the history of the NFL in the 49ers-Titans game on Thursday night. Tennessee's cornerback Kristian Fulton was flagged for grabbing 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk's facemask.

There was just one problem with the call. Fulton was nowhere near Juszczyk's facemask. He clearly grabbed the fullback's shoulder.

This is the kind of call you expect to see on youth football fields. Not in the NFL on a field covered with cameras. This has to be a suspendable offense.
