Jimbo Fisher Thinks Texas A&M Should Be in the College Football Playoff Despite Getting Smoked by Alabama

Texas A&M head coach thinks his 8-1 5th ranked Aggies deserve to be in the College Football Playoff. Following Saturday's win over Tennessee he made his case.

There's just one problem with Fisher's argument. The one loss was to a real playoff team, No. 1 ranked Alabama, and they got absolutely smoked.

Despite a one loss season in the SEC a 52-24 loss to a playoff team means you don't belong with the big boys. It doesn't pass the eye test or any other kind of test you want to use to select a team for the College Football Playoff.

Let's not forget we can't trust a guy named Jimbo either.
