SJ - June 21, 2021

Volleyball player Kaili Scott is heading into her 6th and final year as a middle blocker for California State University San Bernardino. Her career was extended a little bit thanks to reconstructive shoulder surgery that was followed by a reconstructive knee surgery.

The injuries forced Kaili to take a medical redshirt as a junior.  She was then given another year of eligibility by the NCAA when COVID ruined what was supposed to be her redshirt senior season.

The current graduate student is studying National Security Studies and will graduate with her masters this spring.  This comes after she earned her Bachelors degree in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law last spring.

On top of her academic achievements Kaili and the California State University San Bernardino volleyball team went 33-0 in 2019 and won the NCAA DII Women’s Volleyball Championship.

Kaili said literally giving an arm and a leg for volleyball was all worth it when she came back from her injuries and won a national title in 2019.

Maybe I should have asked, but I kind of want to know what the rave pics are all about...
