Portland State Football Coach Spent Over $14k on Beer for Fans

Portland State football coach Bruce Barnum promised to buy beer for fans who attended last Saturday's home game against Western Oregon. On Tuesday night he proved that he followed through on that promise.

Barnum shelled out $14,448 for 2,064 beers. Everyone knows there's nothing better than football and free beer on a Saturday afternoon.

It looks like Barnum's little stunt was a success. He got some asses in the seats, nobody took the free beer too far and his team walked away with a 21-7 win.
