Seahawks backup quarterback Alex McGough is accused of punching a man in the face at a Florida bar.  The alleged attack went down on St. Patrick’s Day after a man hit on his girlfriend.

The victim of the alleged attack has contacted police and filed a report with the intentions of pressing charges.

From TMZ Sports:

TMZ Sports spoke with the alleged victim, 24-year-old Anthony Albino -- who tells us he was reconnecting with an old friend at the bar when McGough approached him and accused him of shooting his shot at his girlfriend.

Anthony says the NFL player got heated -- and all of the sudden, McGough socked him in the face out of nowhere.

How in the world would anyone know who Alex McGough is?  Does he run around wearing a sign that says I'm the Seattle Seahawks backup quarterback?

That would be the only way anyone who isn't familiar with the Seahawks entire roster would be able to identify him.  I've never heard of the guy.

Russell Wilson never gets hurt and his backups never step foot on the field.  TMZ says he's in the NFL, I'll take their word for it.
