Valerie Loureda Took Her First Loss After Turning the Weigh In into a Photo Shoot

Valerie Loureda took her first loss as a professional fighter on Friday night at Bellator 259. Hannah Guy defeated her by unanimous decision during the main card opener.

The loss comes after Loureda turned the weigh in on Thursday into a photo shoot. I'm not going to say that turning the weigh in into a photo shoot contributed to the loss, but it might have played a part.

Let's hope it's just a bump in the road for Loureda and not the start of her taking a bunch of Ls. That can be tough to watch, although she's already set herself up for success out of the ring.
