Ben Roethlisberger Reportedly Expects This to Be His Last Season

Ben Roethlisberger might be entering the final weeks of his NFL career.  According to Adam Schefter, the Steelers quarterback has been telling people he expects this to be his final season.

The timing of this isn't all that surprising given the fact that Roethlisberger's former teammate is calling for him to be benched.

Ben Roethlisberger privately has told former teammates and some within the organization that he expects this to be his final season playing quarterback for the Steelers, league sources told ESPN.

A bittersweet moment for Steelers fans.  He's obviously not able to play at a high enough level anymore, but Big Ben's delivered two rings and countless hours of entertainment.

Let's hope we get him back in a boot before it's all said and done!  It's Big Ben so we know he'll be hurt a couple more times before his last game, fingers crossed one of those injuries requires a boot.
