Coach K recently appeared on "The Steam Room" podcast which is hosted by Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson.  Barkley took the opportunity to tell a story from the time he played for Duke's legendary coach during the 1992 Olympics.

Barkley said he gave his room key to Coach K's daughter so she could get a couple of drinks from the minibar in his room.  Coach K's daughter instead cleaned out his minibar.

As a result Barkley was scared for his life and avoided Coach K the next day at practice.

"I've never been this scared in my life.  So we're playing on the Dream Team, and one of coach’s daughters asks me, 'Charles, can I go get a couple of beers out of your minibar?'  Scottie, Michael, me, and Magic played cards every single night.  So his daughter says, 'Charles, can I go get a couple of beers out your minibar?'  I said, 'Of course.'  I give her my key.  When I get back to the room about five hours later my minibar is empty."

Barkley then said he avoided Coach K at practice the next day.  Coach K confirmed Barkley's story and surprisingly blamed his daughter for cleaning out the minibar.

Here's the interview and I kind of feel like Coach K was close to faking an illness mid-podcast.
