Derek Jeter owns a "castle" in New York that he has tried to unload over the years. In 2018 it was up for 14.75 million dollars and didn't sell, so now he is taking it to auction with a starting bid of 6.5 millions dollars.

The star player who has run through his fair share of princesses like Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Adriana Lima, Vida Guerra, Tyra Banks, Scarlett Johansson, Mariah Carey, Gabrielle Union, Minka Kelly is giving up his throne.

It is on 4 acres, has 5 kithcen, 12 bathrooms,is 9000 square feet, it has a 2000 square foot guest house, and some weird looking lookout watch tower where Rapunzel lets down her hair, so you can get into her underwear, Rapunzel being his model wife Hannah Jeter, at least we'd hope. However, I am sure that won't be part of the real estate deal, unless you're offering a lot more than asking.

The property is located 50 miles from Manhattan and is definitely over the top, but you'd expect that from a star athlete.

Jeter picked up the house for 1.2 million dollars in 2005, but his relationship with the house goes way back, because his grandfather grew up in the house and Jeter spent time there growing up.
