Former NFL Wide Reciever Makes Katy Perry Cry on American Idol!

Blake Proehl was on American Idol and his song made Katy Perry cry. There is no word if she was just being dramatic, but I assume she was.

The WR for the Vikings committed his life to the sport, because he comes from an NFL family. His dad played for 17 years.

Like many players, he suffered a career ending injury and when he was recovering, he turned to music.

His grandmother encouraged him, they went viral together and she stood by him while he performed for the judges.

So now the player sings with his granny., but also sings for America because he got a golden ticket to the competition.

I don't think this was a random audition based on all the facts presented before me, like that he's from the NFL, had an injury, went viral singing for granny, only to create a viral moment to help market the show, but I think all these shows are fake and ultimate boy can sing regardless.
