U.S. Open Announces Punishment For Nick Kyrgios Tantrum

You have probably seen the hilarious tantrum by Australian Tennis Star Nick Kyrgios when he lost his Quarter Final game the other night!

I assume he watched the McEnroe documentary, since he was known for being Tennis' 5 year old brat, which worked in his favor and basically became part of his identity that we are still talking about today, or maybe Kyrgios is just a bratty, spoiled, entitled, overpaid, coddled, athlete who doesn't need mentors for tantrums, because he can tantrum just fine on his own!

We do live in an internet era of viral moments, where all press is good press, where throwing a tantrum opens the doors for remix videos, or people doing their own version at home, so you can never trust anything you see.

The U.S. Open released his punishment last night which will be around $14,000 dollars, coupled with other fines in the tournament, he's up to $32,000 in total fines, which you'd think was steep if his prize money wasn't around $500k, which is pretty decent for someone who couldn't even get to the Semis, but who did all he could to get noticed!
