Naked Woman in Florida Drove a Golf Cart Through an Armed Standoff

Police in Pinellas County Florida had an interesting day on Sunday.  As they were involved in an armed standoff with a teenager, a naked woman in a golf cart drove through the crime scene.

According to officers, Jessica Elisabeth Smith of Boston was completely nude and had a distinct odor of alcohol.  She was unable to follow directions prior to being arrested.

According to the affidavit, 28-year-old Jessica Elisabeth Smith of Boston, Massachusetts, drove a golf cart by several marked sheriff’s office vehicles that were at the scene and ignored a deputy’s commands to leave as she approached the house where the armed teenager was on the roof.

The affidavit says her “actions and inability to follow directions put multiple deputies at risk for potentially getting shot at.” Deputies say they eventually managed to get her out of the golf cart and handcuffed her.

“The defendant had a distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person, and she was completely nude,” the affidavit said.

I'm guessing someone had themselves a Saturday night.  The most shocking part of the entire story is the fact that she isn't a Florida native.  I know the folks in the northeast get down too, but when you read the headline "a naked woman in Florida" you immediately assume she's from Florida.
